HỒ VŨ LÀ AI ???
Anh ta là em ruột của Hồ Lê Khoa (Một SV Đòan Kết VC , du học Úc theo Colombo); Hồ Vũ cũng là em chồng của BS Nguyễn Thị Thu Cúc ở Richmond. Vũ và Vợ vượt biên đến Thái Lan và nhờ Hồ Lê Khoa bảo lãnh định cư ở Melbourne vào năm 80 hay 81 (?) lúc đó 2 vợ chồng VŨ độ 30 tuổi thôi, hình như chưa có con thì phải ?
Ngay những ngày đầu tại Melbourne, Vợ Chồng Vũ cho biết rất chống đối và hòan tòan không chấp nhận lập trường theo Việt Cộng của người anh ruột Hồ Lê Khoa và chị dâu BS Nguyễn Thị Thu Cúc.
Sau nầy nghe tin Vũ đã mở Garage sửa xe ở Vùng Springvale và cách đây vài năm thì đọc thấy tin vụ :"Một người tỵ nạn VN nuôi một con trừu trong sân cỏ nhà mình. Council ra lịnh anh ta phải dời con trừu đi chỗ khác vì luật lệ không cho nuôi trừu trong khuôn viên nhỏ hẹp của 1 tư gia trong thành phố."
Hồ Vũ nhứt định tiếp tục nuôi con trừu cưng , thân thiết hơn cả vợ con và bạn bè của mình. Vũ bị chánh quyền địa phương (Council) lôi ra Tòa.
Tòa xử Vũ thất kiện; Vũ lại kháng cáo lên Tòa Phá Án và cuối cùng cũng bị thất kiện.
Trong vài tháng chờ thi hành án lệnh thì con trừu của Vũ mắc bịnh CANCER gì đó. Sẽ sống không được bao lâu nên Council cũng thương tình về tình cảm của Vũ nên cũng tảng lờ, dây dưa ... chờ con trừu chết cho kết thúc câu chuyện trong lặng lẽ.

Bây giờ Vũ phải đối diện với món nợ án phí lên đến trên 200 ngàn Úc Kim. Theo tin tức báo địa phương thì Vũ khai không có nhà cửa, của cải gì cả, căn nhà mà Vũ ở trước đây là của Vợ...
Chưa biết kết cuộc sẽ ra sao ? Vũ có bị ngồi tù để thay cho món nợ hơn 200 ngàn đó không ? Hay là theo lời khai của Vũ thì hiện tại Vũ chỉ có "TRÊN RĂNG , DƯỚI DÁI"; làm gì được nhau đây ???!
Trường hợp của Vũ lại là một chuyện "TỴ NẠN BUỒN" - Đến Úc định cư rất sớm, cả 2 vợ chồng còn rất trẻ, có thể đi học lại để có một nghề nghiệp chuyên môn, sẽ không cực nhọc như đa số những người nửa chừng xuân khác !
Thế mà Vũ đã không như vậy thật đáng tiếc !!! Nghe đâu Hồ Vũ rất cô đơn, không còn Vợ, Con đầm ấm. Anh ta hóa lão trước tuổi, râu ria bồm xồm nhận không ra ... Cho nên Vũ chỉ còn kết bạn tâm giao với con trừu quanh quẩn suốt ngày bên cạnh Vũ...
Âu cũng là chuyện thê lương của một kiếp người ! Tưởng rằng mình đến Úc là có tất cả. Nhưng rồi Vũ đành phải ngao ngán, không có gì cả, một con trừu cũng không làm bạn được êm xuôi suốt đời ...

High price for Baa
DEAD SHEEP’S OWNER OWES $200,000 IN LEGAL FEES
BAA’S owner Vu Ho is facing bankruptcy over hefty legal fees racked up during his fight to keep the controversial pet sheep in his Springvale backyard.
But Mr Ho (pictured) said he would not ask Greater Dandenong Council to waive the $200,000 legal bill, despite his financial situation.
There was a community outpouring of support for Mr Ho after 17-year-old Baa died this month after a long cancer battle.
Mr Ho had gone all the way to the High Court in a bid to keep his beloved pet after being ordered by the council to get rid of her.
The courts ruled against him late last year but, despite all the legal wranglings, Baa was never removed from the property.
Now councillors will have the final say as to whether Mr Ho will have to pay the council’s massive legal bill.
Mr Ho is unemployed, has no bank account, and his only asset is a 1983 Toyota Tarago valued at less than $1000. The house he lives in belongs to his ex-wife and son, and he said if the council pursued the legal fees he would have to declare bankruptcy.
In 2011, Mr Ho launched legal action against the council after it issued a $220 fine and compliance notice for breaking a livestock local law, after complaints from neighbours.
The fine was then withdrawn, but Mr Ho unsuccessfully took the council to the High Court in the hope of quashing the local law and keeping Baa.
Greater Dandenong mayor Jim Memeti said: “Council never took him to court ... all the council was doing was defending itself, and in the end, council won against costs as well.
“The problem is, if you bring livestock into your backyard, today it’s a sheep, tomorrow it’s a cow and the next it’s a horse and pigs ... when does it stop?” Cr Memeti said.
“That was our biggest concern and that’s why we needed to defend it.”
Cr Memeti said councillors would decide on the next step regarding costs, but no date had been set.
“It’s time that council looks at it and makes a decision on behalf of all the ratepayers,” he said.
Mr Ho said he had “no regrets” about going to the High Court, which he believed was in the “public’s interest” and part of the “democratic process”.
“I will not beg them (the council) for anything,” he said. IN THE end, love was not enough for Baa, arguably Australia’s most famous sheep.
The controversial 17-yearold ewe at the centre of a long legal dispute about whether she could remain in Springvale died on August 15 with her faithful owner, Vu Ho, by her side.
Mr Ho famously took the matter to the High Court of Australia after Greater Dandenong Council said Baa could not live in his backyard.
The court refused Mr Ho leave to appeal an order forcing him to remove the sheep, but Baa remained with Mr Ho until the end.
“Love is not only emotion – true love involves something higher than that,” Mr Ho said.
“With an animal, I did not expect to have this joy, and I have enjoyed serving this animal … this is true love.
“If Baa came into this world on a divine plan, she was withdrawn from this world according to that plan as well, so all we can do is accept it.”
Over the years, Baa’s story went viral and a Facebook page calling for Mr Ho to keep her had more than 1200 likes.
Since last August, Baa had been battling cancer, and earlier this year she had a tumour removed from her neck. Another tumour appeared and the vet advised against surgery.
Her strength briefly returned last month after being fed one of her favourite snacks – fried chips – but she steadily declined.
Mr Ho had been treating the tumour with a raw sesame paste before Baa died.
“For a while we will not see each other, but sometime in the future we will join each other again,” he said. “I am happy that she passed (away) at home ... if Baa died in another place her soul might not find the way back home.”
Mr Ho said he would not be getting any more sheep.
