Crown Princess Mary of Denmark donned her army uniform today as she took part in a Home Guard Parade in Copenhagen.
The royal, 51, was appointed the captain of the Danish Home Guard in March 2019.
In her role, the mother-of-four oversees the annual Parade - which celebrates Denmark's liberation from Nazi rule.
For the ceremony at the Kastellet fortress, the royal - who grew up in Australia - donned a khaki military uniform and combat boots.
Mary proudly had four medals on show for the ceremony - including the Order of the Elephant, which is the highest ranking order in Denmark.
The royal also had a ceremonial sword tucked into her belt as she laid a wreath at the memorial.
Mary swept her long brown hair into a voluminous ponytail and tucked it under a racing green beret.
After laying the wreath, the royal gave the memorial a salute - as she paid tribute to those who lost their lives in WWII.
It comes as Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and King Willem-Alexander also took part in a Remembrance Service in Amsterdam this evening.
Last month, Crown Princess Mary returned to Sydney for her first official visit in over 10 years./-
