Mr Dutton’s remarks come after Foreign Minister Penny Wong announced that Labor would reverse Australia’s recognition of West Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

“For the Jewish community here in Australia, they were rightly offended and upset by the decision that Labor took because they lied about it, it was deceptive,” Mr Dutton told Sky News host Peter Gleeson.
